OSGeo-Live 6.0 released

Version 6.0 of the OSGeo-Live GIS software collection and accompanying Lightening Presentation, has been released, ready for distribution at a large number of geospatial conferences and workshops from around the world.
Release Highlights
- OpenJDK 7
- All OSGeo-Live java applications have successfully been migrated to OpenJDK 7. This move to OpenJDK has been driven by Oracle's announcement that Sun Java is no longer allowed to be distributed in Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, or OSGeo-Live.
- Translations
- Ubuntu 12.04
About OSGeo-Live
OSGeo-Live is a self-contained bootable DVD, USB flash drive and Virtual Machine based upon Ubuntu Linux that is pre-configured with a wide variety of robust open source geospatial software. The applications can be trialled without installing anything on your computer, simply by booting the computer from the DVD or USB drive. The lightening overview introduces all these applications, and hence provides a comprehensive introduction to the breadth of Geospatial Open Source.
It includes:

- One page overviews and quick start guides for all applications
