History of GeoForAll
The education committee was formed to inventory, organize and coordinate the development of educational and curriculum material that supports open source geospatial-related education. Intended to work collaboratively providing Appropriately Licensed Material accessible to a broad audience including academia, professionals, and the general public.
The education committee began around 2006 and evolved into a broader community that is called GeoForAll.
