I have been a long time OSS GIS user. His first introduction was to GRASS GIS in 2005. I became an active member of QGIS user groups and presented during several local FOSS4G and QGIS events. I have been running workshops, presentations and also participated in many events to push for adoption of FOSS4G, specifically QGIS, in UK.
