OSGeo Experience and Roles:

    I am Nishant Bansal, a Bachelor of Technology graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, India. My open-source journey began in 2024 when I contributed to CNCF-KCL through LFX, working on checksum verification for third-party dependencies in the KCL Package Manager. Later that same year, I started contributing to GRASS—and I’ve never looked back since.
