This Agreement, also known as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), is entered into on this __ day of __, 201__, by the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science, hereinafter called “UCGIS”, and the Open Source Geospatial Foundation, hereinafter called “OSGeo”.
1. UCGIS and OSGeo agree to cooperate in the following activities, which are to their mutual benefit: a. Disseminate information, news, and opportunities for each organization to members of the other, using official and organizational publications, such as list-serves and newsletters; a.i. Thoughtful attention should be paid to share only those items that are deemed relevant and appropriate to the receiving audience; If in doubt, consult with a staff member or administrator of OSGeo or UCGIS; a.ii. UCGIS will authorize up to two individuals associated with OSGeo to post to their All List-serv; b.
