Contributor to OpenLayers, GeoDjango, Mapnik, and a long-time user of PostGIS, GEOS, GDAL, etc. Heavily involved with Open New Zealand & it's work to free NZ government data. Also spend time with the OpenStreetMap community, mostly via NZOpenGIS. Was on the organising team for Linux.conf.au 2010 in Wellington.
