Dr. Markus Lupp

I work as a GIS consultant with a special focus on Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI), Open Source GIS and Remote Sensing. I am a member of the Project Steering Committee of the deegree project (and one of the original founders of the project). Also, I am the current editor of OGC's Styled Layer Descriptor (SLD) and Symbology Encoding (SE) standards and was involved in a number of other OGC standardisation actitivies.

Regarding OSGeo, my roles are : 

* charter member
* editor for the Topical Studies section of the OSGeo journal
* member of the incubation commitee

I changed my name due to marital reasons a while ago, my former name was Markus Müller.

I am currently living in Kupang (West-Timor, Indonesia).
