Hi,

My name is Maxime Labelle, but Max is just fine. As a geographer, I find that GIS are neat tools. Because I have been using UNIX (BSD, Linux) systems for about 10 years, I feel it is only natural to think open-source when I think GIS. That being said, I enjoy hiking, outdoors, nature and python programming for some reason. My education is something like; computer science, geography and mathematics. You can reach me in #osgeo @ freenode.
