These have, however, ...</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The OSGeo Finland Chapter was established in the summer of 2008 so 2009 was the first full year of existence. <br /> <br /> We have an email list and wiki page provided by OSGeo. These have, however, been used very little.<br /> <br /> The big event in 2009 was a half day mini conference organized jointly with ProGIS. The conference was in April 21 on the campus of Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University School of Science and Technology) and it was attended by more than 50 people. There were four presentations in the conference, which gave an overview of OSGeo and FLOSS4G, the free web-stack, WPS, and the role of free software in what ESRI does.
