Cette<br /> archive des débuts du logiciel libre géospatial offrait du code source<br /> et des applications disponibles librement à la communauté. Sol était<br /> aussi un participant fréquent à plusieurs listes de discussions du monde<br /> géospatial, où ses contributions ont grandement bénéficié à la<br /> communauté géospatiale en général.<br /> <br /> Sol est malheureusement décédé en 1999 d'un lymphome non hodgkinien,<br /> mais son héritage continue d'habiter le monde open source.
