<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Dr Ben Postance is a GIS data scientist with expertise in natural hazards, machine learning and risk. Ben obtained his PhD from Loughborough University in 2018, that examined the risk and economic impact of severe weather on critical infrastructure systems in the EU. In addition to continuing research on natural hazards, Ben also currently works as a data science consultant for a large specialist underwriter. Ben is an active reviewer for several journals including Environmental Research Letters, Landslides, and Transport Policy. He is also a member of the Research Data Alliance Big Data and Geospatial Data groups.</div>Wiki-Camerons
