Calgary

A group of interested FOSGIS users did meet on April 29th 2010 in Calgary to get to know each other and talk about forming a local OSGeo chapter. The Group included users and developers with a business and university background. For the notes of this meeting please see: Calgary IG.

On this first meeting we decided to:

  • do meetings once a month to get things started, e.g. set-up objectives of the interest group/chapter,
  • create an email list: done, see: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/alberta,
  • welcome other people from Alberta (or even other provinces) to participate in our activities

The next meeting will be towards end of May 2010 / beginning of June. A Doodle will be used to determine the best date.
