Calgary
A group of interested FOSGIS users did meet on April 29th 2010 in Calgary to get to know each other and talk about forming a local OSGeo chapter. The Group included users and developers with a business and university background. For the notes of this meeting please see: Calgary IG.
On this first meeting we decided to:
- do meetings once a month to get things started, e.g. set-up objectives of the interest group/chapter,
- create an email list: done, see: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/alberta,
- welcome other people from Alberta (or even other provinces) to participate in our activities
The next meeting will be on June 1st, 2010. The meeting will take place at the University of Calgary Science B 146. Please see also the postings on the OSGeo Alberta email list.
