Introducción (es)
En dos eventos distintos se ha manifestado la intención de crear un Capitulo Local OSGeo de idioma Español. El primero tuvo lugar ISSTOCAM WebGIS Meeting en Ostende, Belgica (resultando en la página Sudamerica) y el segundo han sido las I Jornadas de SIG Libre en Girona, España. Se trata de un muy buen comienzo para juntar esfuerzos y crear una comunidad muy amplia dentro de OSGeo.

One is the ISSTOCAM WebGIS Meeting in Oostende Belgium (also giving birth to the page Sudamerica), and the other is the first Spanish meeting about foss4g in Girona Spain. This is a very good starting point to join efforts and create a widespread community inside OSGeo.
