There has not been as much activity on the California Chapter as I had hoped. We have established a mailing list for the proposed chapter, but it does not have a lot of traffic currently. Alex Mandel mentioned the possibility of having an OSGeo booth at the California Geographer's Conference in Chico in May 2008. I am currently working with Alex to make arrangments for the booth.
