Si vous avez installé l'addons "ChatZilla" pour le navigateur Firefox, vous pouvez cliquer directement sur ce lien : irc://irc.freenode.net/osgeo-fr. Celui ci ouvrira directement ChatZilla sur #osgeo-fr. Testé avec succès mardi 2 septembre 2008 sous Linux Ubuntu 8.4 (Hardy).
Avec un applet
Allez sur le site http://www.mibbit.com/ et entrez les informations suivantes :
- Connect to IRC : Freenode.net
- Choisissez un Nick (surnom)
- Channel(s) : #osgeo-fr
