The Open Monitoring Systems Working Group is a subsidiary body established by the OSGeo Open Geoscience Committee to advance in the topic of Open monitoring system for in-situ observations.

The focus of the work of the Working Group is:

  • the condivision of experiences on open monitoring systems for in-situ earth observations.
  • the establishing of a network for implementing joint programmes to advance in this topic
