The State of the Map (SotM) conference is the annual, international conference of OpenStreetMap. Organised by the OpenStreetMap Foundation
State Of The Map 2020 was set to take place in Cape Town, South Africa. Due to the the high infection risk of SARS-COV-2 virus and all its consequences like travel restrictions, cancellation of physical meetings, “social distancing”, and more, a physical SotM is not possible this year. Instead it will be held as an online conference on 4-5 July 2020.
