I'm fairly new to OSGeo. I'm currently a Ph.D. student in the School of Geography, Geology and Environmental Science at the University of Auckland. My interests here are in the intersection of cyber-technology as it applies to knowledge discovery, scientific methodology, and data representation in the geosciences.

In a previous life, I worked for the devil :-)~ It was actually while working there I was first introduced to OSGeo, the Open Geospatial Consortium, and the idea (ideals) behind Free and Open Source Software.

I'm trying to figure out where I can fit in, and how I can best contribute.
