Could a project post a request for volunteers needed on this page? Maybe add a new title reading Project Request. This could be a convenient way to unobstrusively reach quite a handful of people. The requests could be added and removed quickly. People who are interested would know where to look for the right project. Sometimes there are peaks of work when many hands are needed and short time contributors welcome.
