Dr. Tuong Thuy Vu Associate Professor Open-source Geospatial Research Lab School of Geography, University of Nottingham, Malaysia campus (UNMC) http://www.nottingham.edu.my/Geography/index.aspx

A geospatial scientist by training, Thuy has been working as researcher and educator in Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Sweden and Malaysia. He has been an active user of open-source software for his research and teaching including QGIS, GRASS GIS, and Orfeo Toolbox. He is currently leading the OSGEO lab at UNMC, a research unit aiming at promoting OSGEO tools and services in Malaysia and the region. Has promoted the uses of OSGEO in Malaysia and the region.
