Hi,
I am the main founder of slashgeo.org, a community-driven ad-free site for geospatial news and discussions. I work for Environment Canada in Montréal (Québec). I also co-founded the Applied-GIS-RS mailing list a few years ago and maintain the ARSIST satellite summary table. I participate within the GeoNET network for geospatial issues regarding the Government of Canada.
I helped with the PR French translation for the OSGeo Foundation.
