 Hello and welcome to my profile page. I am a member of the Engineering team at [http://www.ingres.com Ingres] working on Geospatial technologies.
-I am investigating demand for a common/shared open source geospatial C library called libgeo. libgeo will potentially draw from existing projects that implement part of what is required. The thinking is that a single common library will result in less redundant development, improved robustness, improved performance, and free effort to be used on innovation and new features. Should there be enough demand and value, I'll be working with others to implement it.
