Berk Anbaroğlu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He has received his PhD from University College London in 2013, in which he developed a novel methodology to detect non-recurrent congestion events on an urban road network. His research interest on graphs led to the development of the 'Minimum Spanning Tree' plugin of QGIS. He also authored the tutorial on 'Open geospatial data and software for UN SDG 16, Peace justice and open institutions'.
