I am working at the CSIRO Marine labs in Hobart. We are currently migrating from proprietary GIS to open source. We are setting up geodatabases using PostGIS, web map serving using a combination of geoserver and mapguide open source and desktop gis using gvSig and geotools. I have previously been involved in the SeeGrid which is an excellent example of a cross agency OGC collaboration.
