Michele Tobias has been a user of QGIS since 2006, and an active participant in OSGeo activities since about 2010. She holds a PhD from UC Davis in biogeography and geospatial technologies.

FOSS4G Software & Open Data Projects:

Lead Programmer: Literature Mapper Plugin for QGIS – Allows researcher to add locations to entries in a Zotero bibliography database

Data Creation Lead: UC Davis Library’s American Viticulture Area boundary data creation project

Contributor: Open Drone Map – Contribute low-altitude (kite & balloon) aerial photography example data, user experience, photogrammetry expertise
