I'm an environmental engineer addicted to GIS development playing in the field of hydrologic and geomorphologic modelling with JGrass.

In the foss4g world I develop and try to coordinate JGrass and am in the Project Steering Comittee of uDig.

Since 2005 I'm cofounder of HydroloGIS, were we mainly develop around and make use of JGrass.

I have a PhD in Environmental Sciences at the University of Urbino where I developed with the LINEE group uDig extensions for digital field mapping, which are bundled in the BeeGIS project.
