Bio
Orest is the technical architect for the Data Access and Solutions group of the Geospatial Business Unit at Autodesk. He is responsible for the architecture of FDO, FDO providers, and related technologies. Orest has been at Autodesk for 9 years and has over 25 years experience in the geospatial software industry focusing on data management and database solutions for managing geospatial data. He has participated in the design and implementation of some of the earliest uses of relational database technology in the geospatial industry for the management of spatial data for utility and mapping applications.
