Just another admirer of the power of Open Source GIS tools, who has a confession to make. Lately (after 2008) am failing to keep pace with the developments of FOSS4G tolls like climbing an escalator that is coming down, at twice my speed.
We in the developing countries have much to gain from this development, but the scourge of software piracy is thwarting legitimate efforts.
So keeping a historical account of what is going on in India and OSGeo India in particular. Pl feel free to add.
