Bachelor's at Engenharia Cartográfica from Universidade Federal do Paraná (1999), MSc in Environmental Management from University of Nottingham (2003) and PhD at Geodetic Sciences from Universidade Federal do Paraná (2012). She is currently professor at Universidade Federal do Paraná and coordinates de GeoForAll Lab (Labgeolivre). She is also chair of the Open Source Geotechnologies Commission of ICA (International Cartographic Association).
