Wie ben ik

In mijn huidige baan doe ik (helaas) nu niets met Open Source GIS software maar voorheen heb ik veel ontwikkeld met MapServer. Daarnaast me ook beziggehouden met PostGIS en de OGC standaarden, vooral WMS en WCS.

Vanaf de zijlijn en als hobby volg ik nog steeds de ontwikkelingen van veel Open Source software en Open Source GIS software in het bijzonder.

Ik hoop via het local chapter op de hoogte te blijven van de ontwikkelingen en betrokken te blijven bij het gebruik van Open Source GIS software in Nederland.

Who am I

In my current postion I no longer work with Open Source GIS software (unfortunately) but before I've done a lot of development with MapServer. Besides that I've also worked with PostGIS and OGC standards, mainly WMS and WCS.

Now I´m still trying to keep an eye on what´s going on in Open Source software field and especially the Open Source GIS software.

I hope that being involved in the local dutch chapter provides a way to stay informed about what is going on with Open Source GIS software in the Netherlands.
