Open F2F Meeting Lausanne 2006

Purpose

This afternoon meeting is intended as a loosely structured feedback, brainstorming, and planning session for the foundation. Participation is welcome from anyone who is interested in supporting the goals of OSGeo.

When and Where

September 11th, 2006 at Lausanne, Switzerland, 2:45pm to 5:00pm (Conference Venue with coordinates)

The meeting is in the "Salle A BP 1122" in building BP, findable on this map from the subway stop.

The best route to parking by car is available in this map. Send email to finance at foss4g2006.org with "F2F Parking Pass" in the subject for a PDF file for a free parking pass, or just pay at the site.

Facilities

Wireless networking will be available.

Refreshments will be provided for a mid-afternoon coffee break, but lunch is not provided, so please eat before arriving.

The room properly seats 30 people, but additional chairs will be brought in if this number is exceeded.

Later at Tacos

7:30pm:

  • Autodesk is hosting a post-meeting mixer/”beer bash” at Taco’s Bar in a room reserved under "OSGeo Post-meeting Party".
  • Drinks and heavy appetizers will be provided.
  • Trains run every 10 minutes from UNIL-Sorge to Lausanne-Flon
