Andreea Marin

Location: Bucharest, Romania
Andreea earned a Master's degree in Geographic Information System at the Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest. Her PhD was obtained at the University of Bucharest with the thesis ”Study of fluvial islets morphodynamics related to controlling factors through geospatial techniques. Application in the Giurgiu-Oltenița Danube River Sector”.
She is interested in spreading the FOSS concept among students and researchers and with great pleasure dedicates her free time to geo-spatial.org, an active Romanian community that works to facilitate the sharing of geospatial knowledge and free geographic datasets.
