I am a GCI 2018 student, working on the Join the OSGeo Community task. Personally, I am considering getting a degree in computer science and eventually, becoming a data scientist. The reason I wanted to work with your organization was because I have a serious passion for all types of geography, and OSGeo is working to make geospatial technology open to everyone. I think that's really interesting, and that's why I want to work with your organization.
