Building on a history of professional engagement with open geospatial through his work with LINZ, Daniel has played a crucial role in establishing OSGeo Oceania and the FOSS4G SotM Oceania conference series over the last 2 years. As conference chair this year, he has demonstrated a strong work ethic, great teamwork skills, and empathy, effectively bringing together an engaged team.
