Profile (en)

After geographer and topographer training I started my professional career in Innoval, a company who was developing DAO and GIS tools mainly for surveyors but also Reference customers such as CERN, EPSHOM, SNCF or BRGM.

In 1993, I co-created Azimut and we started to develop tools on Bentley platform.

Unix experience and actual affinities with open source Ecosystem have naturally led us to use and support free software to supply services based on them.

Today, I mainly develop under QGIS and PostgreSQL/PostGIS and I encourage and assist companies and organizations to migrate to Open Source solutions (totally or partially).

In parallel, since 2013 I've been a member of the board OSGeo-fr and contribute to the events it organizes (FOSS4G-fr, Rencontres utilisateurs francophones QGIS..). I also contribute to PGDAY-fr

Profil (fr)
