- Open source geospatial has poor interoperability with proprietary applications
- no vendor support
- no product road map
- unproven in mission critical environments
- open source is all about command lines
- open source is only for linux
- I can't use open source in my .NET environment
- Open source changes too quickly. I can't keep changing my production environment.
