Eric Wolf is the official lead member of the LOC for the Denver, Colorado bid to host FOSS4G 2011.
Eric lives in Longmont, Colorado, USA. He is pursuing his PhD in Geography at the University of Colorado under the advisement of Barbara P. Buttenfield.
Eric is also a researcher for the US Geological Survey Center of Excellence in GIScience.
With Peter Batty and Ben Tuttle, Eric co-organized WhereCamp5280 held at the University of Denver in August 2009.
He was a founding member of the Chattanooga Area Linux And Gnu User's Group (CHUGALUG) which focused more on real applications of FOSS than Linux Load Parties.
