I have helped organize and host several OSM mapping parties around the Boston/Cambridge area, and am helping to organize the first Boston Wherecamp to be held Oct. 29-30, 2011. I a member of OSGEO, the local OSGEO Boston chapter, and the OSGEO Education group.

In the realms beyond geospatial, I have very strong interests in health, wellness, and community. I am a certified yoga teacher and hold relaxed meditative breathing and gentle movements sessions to help others release stress and relax. I also teach computer basics to adult immigrants through the [[http://www.welcomeproject.org/content/adult-education |Welcome Project]].
