Hi!
My name is John Collinson. I have worked within the geospatial space as a software engineer for the past 10 years. First for my local county council, followed by a brief stint with a international retailer, and finally at the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office.
Here's a brief decsription of what I've worked on...
I have developed spatial data warehouses using technologies such as Oracle Spatial and PostGres/PostGIS.
I have built complex ETL routines to consolidate data from multiple sources and multiple formats into various destinations.
I have built application tier components to implement spatial querying, routing, analysis and more, served up in different ways such as via web services, RPC services and the like.
