  • identified some hackathons for job seekers (which is a lot of us) and the fact they need not be "GIS" hackathons because, "everything is somewhere."
  • spoke about the developing Open Source meetup (Gabriel couldn't attend, tonight)
  • Discussed a group that Elias is helping to develop to support consultants, which would very likely help a lot of GIS professionals and could also benefit from open source solutions and enablement tools

Some suggestions from the chapter for presentations include:

  • Show us your side hustle
  • Bring us your problems ( stuff you're working on and issues )
  • teach something new ( OS Geo projects or other ).
