I'm the CAD/ GIS Specialist for the Design and Construction Services department of UC Santa Barbara.  I've only been using open-source software on a regular basis for about the past 6 months.  At work I use ESRI and Autodesk products mainly, but at home I'm learning PostgreSQL with PostGIS, Quantum GIS and GRASS.  I'm still looking for the right open-source server to add to my OSGeo stack.  I've just recently switched over to a linux machine for daily use at home as well.
