I am a certified yoga teacher and hold relaxed meditative breathing and gentle movements sessions to help others release stress and relax. I have been supporting GIS in academia for over 10 years, currently through [| MIT GIS Services]. We help people think through their project ideas, find data, and learn how to use the tools they need. MIT GIS Services helps support a dynamic community working to solve exciting, real-life problems.
I am a strong believer in open data, community participation, and FOSS. I have helped organize and host several OSM mapping parties around the Boston/Cambridge area, and am helping to organize the first Boston Wherecamp held Oct. 29-30, 2011.
