Location: Exeter, United Kingdom
Ian's GIS career has spanned academia, business and government, including research positions at the universities of Cambridge and Exeter, director of a GIS company and more recently working for the UK government in his current post as a senior software engineer at the Met Office. Ian is an honorary fellow of the University of Exeter, he regularly gives guest lecturer at the University of Cambridge and he is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
