Live GIS Disc Press Release 69
OSGeo-Live 10.0 beta1 released - call for doc updates, translators, testers and workshop leaders
29 June 2016
OSGeo-Live 10.0 beta1 has just been released [1][2]. We would like to call for projects to check if their documentation reflects any recent updates, translators to update their documents, and testers to verify that all included software works. In particular, we need help to:
- Check if any new features need to be added to Project Overviews
- Run Quickstarts and verify they work as described
- Update review status in our spreadsheet [3]. (It really helps us know if an application has been reviewed, and by who).
- Translate docs that have been updated.
Additionally we would like to get feedback from FOSS4G 2016 workshop leaders, who are interested to use OSGeo-Live 10.0 for their workshops this summer in Bonn. The current plan is that OSGeo-Live 10.0 will be the default installation on the workshop computers, so please test early and provide feedback.
