- Carpocalypse Calgary
- Carpocalypse was part of the GeoWomen of Calgary "Data by Design" 2021 datathon. Our project uses curated and processed Open Calgary data to imagine the city without cars, employing Python-based machine learning and spatial analysis in QGIS. We will present our results and give a live demonstration. We are a team of individuals from diverse technical domains, working remotely in three different cities and had not met each other prior to this event. Check out our project in GitHub:

- Notes on Mentorship
- I spoke with Jessie Letizia - MAGNA engineering and Cartography nut - and she would be willing to post an hour of mentorship/month whereby people could reach out to her and schedule her time to ask questions about mapping projects
- Is this something you've seen done?
- Suggestions on how we might structure this?
- Other mentors?

Some suggestions from the chapter for presentations include:

- Bring us your problems ( stuff you're working on and issues )
- teach something new ( OS Geo projects or other ).
