FOSS4G 2024 financial update
- Presentation about the financial outcome of the conference.
- Discussion on calculations of profit and loss. Proposal is to share the exchange rate losses (~6000), and then divide the remaining profit following the 70% OSGeo & 30% Local Chapter formula.

OSGeo Code Sprint 2025 (BiDS) - Request for total number of participants
- September 29th ~ October 3rd in Riga, Latvia
- Target max 80 people
- ACTION: Angelos to prepare the wiki page for the sprint (Vicky will help on events page on website).
- ACTION: Angelos to reach out to sponsors.
Feedback from OSGeo presentation to WMO
- A WMO Task Team on Open Source Software (TT-OSS) has been formed and active since February 2025 to help further FOSS in WMO. The Terms of Reference can be found at [2].
- A key component of moving forward in TT-OSS is reviewing the current state of FOSS at various meteorological agencies, but also external FOSS organizations.
- Given the synergy and use of FOSS4G software in numerous WMO Member activities, a presentation on OSGeo would be valuable to understand the history, mandate and working arrangements of the organization.
- Angelos was invited to give a presentation to the WMO TT-OSS.
- WMO is very interested to have an MOU similar to what we have with ESA.
- Opportunity to revive the “Domain specific” category of OSGeo projects (used to be a category on OSGeoLive), since organizations are eager to contribute their open source projects.
Joint OSGeo-OGC-ASF Sprint Update
- No updates from Joana.
- Week of the 16th of June - Evora, Portugal
EOPF updates
- Moved to the next board meeting.
OSGeo in Tokyo Sprint
- Joana will go to the sprint and present on OSGeo

QGIS 4.0 updates
- New version announced
- Upcoming QGIS conference is sold out (300 participants).
