| Personal Description : | I am a GIS Architect and Software Development Team Leader at the Intendencia de Montevideo, Uruguay, with extensive experience in software development and the implementation of geospatial information systems in public administration.
Since 2016, I have led mobile application development teams, and since 2022, I have worked on the architecture and technical leadership of GIS solutions for the municipality. My work focuses on Free and Open Source Geospatial Software (FOSS4G), particularly QGIS, GeoServer, OGC standards (WMS and WFS-T), and web-based GIS applications. One of my main projects is Plugineta, a corporate QGIS-based solution developed at the Intendencia de Montevideo to support geospatial data editing, validation, management, and interoperability with institutional systems. I am interested in promoting open-source geospatial technologies, interoperability, and knowledge sharing within public administration. |
