GeoTec is the major non-vendor specific geospatial/gis conference in Canada, and it moves from city to city. In 2008 it will be in Ottawa. The OSGeo Ottawa Chapter is interested in having a reasonably organized presence at the conference, and Dave McIlhagga is on the conference committee, and sees value to the conference in having us active.
