The aim of this international conference is to address geospatial technologies with focus to the Open Source community in Southeast Asia.
Time and location
FOSS4G 2012 will be held from 18 - 19 July 2012 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It will take place this year in conjunction with the partner conference AGSE 2012.

The following workshops have been suggested:
- Introduction to ILWIS (3h)
- Python in three hours (3h)
- Basic Quantum GIS and Webmapping
- An Introduction to Ecological Niche Modelling Using DIVA GIS
- Above Ground Biomass Estimation, based on Remote Sensing Methods for CDM and REDD+
- Implementing OGC conformant webservices using PostGIS and GeoServer (3h)
- Fuzzy logic analysis
